Within the EO4PORT roadmap, a set of EO-based services has been designed and prototyped to show how port information needs can be translated into operational solutions. These services are not “one-off demos”, but examples of how requirements, EO capabilities, and platform integration come together in practice.
The main services focus on:
Land Use / Land Cover change in and around port areas,
Low tide line dynamics in tidal ports,
Atmospheric quality over ports and adjacent cities, and
Light pollution from port and coastal infrastructure,
all implemented and explored through ESA environments such as APEx and Geospatial Explorer.
